About Us

The word "FIREpreneurship" is a mix between the acronym "FIRE" (Financial Independence, Retire Early) and Entrepreneurship. FIREpreneurship.com is on a mission to help you reach financial independence - When work becomes optional.

When you reach financial independence, retirement becomes an option. "Retirement" means many different things to different people. It's not necessarily sitting on a beach, sipping piña coladas. Here, retirement means you have escaped the rat race and you are doing what you love. That can mean doing the work you love (running your business) or traveling the world. It's up to you.

We believe that entrepreneurship is a great way to meet your financial goals as you have the potential to make enough money to become independent. But why stop there? We are here to help you create passive income through Simplification, Elimination, Automation, and Delegation. We help you plant the "S.E.A.D." to freedom.

It's time you signed your own declaration of financial independence!

We encourage all entrepreneurs everywhere to follow the teachings of The E-myth Revisited (a book we highly recommend you read if you haven't already) and run your business instead of letting your business run you into the ground; own your business, don't run it - let others do that.

Therefore, we offer services to help your business thrive in the content creation arena, which is anything from blog posts, ad copy, email copy, podcast editing, video editing, and so much more! Delegate your content creation to us so you can be that much closer to freedom.

Our customers are our top priority, and through our products, services, and content, we work hard towards building long-lasting and meaningful relationships with them.

We are committed to helping you reach financial independence through entrepreneurship!

What Makes Us Different?

What Make Us Different

This is a great question! To answer it, we'll first go over the different types of outsourcing sites: The Marketplace, the Narrow Niche, and the One-Stop-Shop.

Let’s start off with some definitions. A marketplace is a platform like Amazon where you can buy and sell pretty much any product under the sun. You can simply search for the item and you’ll get a lot of different results. There is no specific “theme” or type of product on there.

A narrow niche site would be like a one product store. I once came across a store like this that only sold keychain straws. These are very straight forward sites. You go there for that one thing and that’s it. You don’t encounter analysis paralysis from having too many options, but you may not get everything you may need from that one store.

An example of a One-Stop-Shop would be a bike store. In a bike store, you not only find bikes, but you also find other gear and gadgets that go along with the hobby. You can find anything you need when it comes to biking. This makes it very convenient and easy to go in, grab everything you want, and be out in a jiff.

Now that those definitions are out of the way, let’s dive in and apply what we’ve learned to the topic at hand, outsourcing.

The Marketplace

“The Marketplace”, when it comes to outsourcing sites, would be a site like Fiverr or Upwork. On these sites, you have the ability to search for what you need done then get a lot of results, and by results, I mean different “gigs” (as Fiverr calls them) from freelancers. On Fiverr, you also have the option of posting a request for work done and freelancers will respond to that. It can be great to have so many options all at your fingertips. However, having so many options can cause analysis paralysis. It can also be a long process to go into different listings and see all the ratings and other pertinent information needed to make informed decisions, much like deciding between all the sellers on Amazon wanting to sell you a TV. But, unlike browsing on Amazon, with outsourcing, you still need to do all the contacting and interviewing to see if the freelancer(s) you’ve chosen are the right fit for you and your business. Another aspect you’ll have to worry about or deal with on these sites is that you’ll have to be in contact with the freelancer and handle all of the “managing” that comes with outsourcing. So if you want to have a lot of options and go through all the weeding out and decision process and “manage” the freelancer, then these platforms are for you.

Another downfall to Fiverr and Upwork is that pretty much anyone can have an account and be a freelancer. This means you may or may not get high quality work done. These sites do their best to avoid scams and they do a great job. However, that doesn’t mean sketchy things don’t happen. It’s a challenge to find good, quality work on these platforms.

An upside to Fiverr and Upwork is that you’ll be able to find really great prices, but a great deal is not always worth the risk of having bad quality work done and having to deal with the issues I mentioned above, but again, I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

Note: By “managing” I mean having to go back and forth with the freelancer and making sure the job is done right. A lot of times, especially on Fiverr and Upwork, you’ll be dealing with freelancers that have English as their second language. None of this is bad by any means, but it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do all the managing, especially when there are miscommunications due to language barriers.

The Specific Niche

An example of The Specific Niche in outsourcing would be 99designs, which does graphic design work. I haven’t personally used their services, but I hear they do a great job. In fact, they even state (and I agree) that because they’re so niched down and focused on one thing (graphic design in their case) that they’re able to do a great job. They’re not spread too thin. This ties to the division of labor concept. That you can read more about in our outsourcing eBook that you can download for free here.

With a site like 99designs, you’re able to get anything and everything you need as long as it has to do with their niche, graphic design. If you want some other service done, you’ll need to look somewhere else and it can be a challenge to find what you need. 99designs is also rather pricey as are most if not all niched services. Their niche is their bread and butter and it makes sense and is understandable that they’ll have to charge more to make their business model worth their time.

The One-Stop-Shop

This is where we come in. FIREpreneurship.com is an example of the One-Stop-Shop for outsourcing. I, as the founder of FIREpreneurship.com, have worked hard to think of as many ways as I can to fill the needs of the entrepreneur ready to go from employee to employer to business owner (FIREpreneur) when it comes to content creation, so we provide services that go well with each other. We also partner up with other businesses and software that we know will help you with your business and help us achieve our mission. By the way, if there’s anything you would like to see on our site, just let us know and we’ll either add that service or partner up with a business or software to fill that need. Again, our goal is to have a place where you can find everything you want/need for your business.

Now you may ask, well if that’s the case, then how is FIREpreneurship.com different from the marketplaces mentioned above? Simple, FIREpreneurship.com offers the services you need presented in a simple format. All you have to do is select the service and FIREpreneurship.com selects the best freelancer for the job. We do all the vetting, checking, interviewing, etc. for you ahead of time. We have also hand-picked all of our partnerships as well so you can get the best of the best for your business.

To illustrate this further, let’s take an example scenario. You need some graphic design work done. You go to Fiverr or Upwork and see lists a mile long of freelancers that can do the work for you, and now begins the long process of finding the one that’ll do the best work for you. Someone that can be trusted. Someone that is a great fit for your business. You take some time narrowing down the list to just a few freelancers. Now you go and contact all of them to see if they’re available to do the job. You may or may not find the right one for the job, but you do a great job looking, as I’m confident you would, and get the right freelancer. You go back and forth with them, confirming they know what you want done. There are some miscommunications and the work comes back less than acceptable. Now you’re at square one once again.

Now on the flip side; you need some graphic design done like before. You go to FIREpreneurship.com and select what you need done. You see the price right there and you submit the form letting us know exactly what you need done. In some cases, you may be contacted to ensure the details of the job are communicated correctly. Your project is assigned to a freelancer and a day or more later (depending on the project) your finished project is presented to you. Let’s say you don’t like the results; that’s ok! Because we offer unlimited revisions, so our freelancers work on it some more and we send you the second revision. Our goal isn’t to have this continue through many revisions, but we offer unlimited revisions to bring you peace of mind. Anyway, you get your finished product that you’re happy with and you’re on your way. Simple, right?

Now, how do we compare to a business like 99designs? As mentioned before, we offer many different types of services that are related to each other. Let’s see an example: You’re starting a podcast and you need some graphic design work done as well as audio editing, transcription, and you also want to have a YouTube channel with the same content requiring some video editing as well. You go to 99designs for graphic design and they do a great job, but you need all that other stuff done as well… so you look for more sites that offer the services you need. Unless you have a list of sites up your sleeve, this can take a long time to find the right fit for you.

Taking the same scenario, instead of going to 99designs, you go to FIREpreneurship.com and order the graphic design work as well as the audio editing, video editing, transcription and translation that you need done as well. Not long after the order you have all of the work done and ready for you to post your first podcast episode as well as your first YouTube video! Congratulations! You’re up and running and in less time than with other options.

Being a One-Stop-Shop, our pricing is somewhere in the middle between the marketplaces mentioned and the niche sites. We bring you the quality (bringing in the higher cost) of the niche store and the great options (lowering costs since we don’t rely on one service) at your fingertips of the marketplace. Therefore bringing in the pros of the three types of outsourcing sites and eliminating many of the cons.

To sum up, FIREpreneurship.com saves you the headache of searching and deciding on a great freelancer for your project. We also save you the time of looking elsewhere for projects you need done; hence the One-Stop-Shop.

FIREpreneurship.com brings in all of the pros of outsourcing as well as eliminates many of the cons. For example, the price you see is the price you pay. We believe in being upfront and transparent in every way. We'll never slap you with extra fees of any kind.

An added bonus to working with us is that you can put your mind at rest when it comes to the security of your business and any sensitive information you share with us. We only share information with the vetted and trusted freelancers we work with. It never goes beyond that. We also ensure you're the only one that gets the drafts and the finished work.

You can read more about the pros and cons of outsourcing by reading the eBook I mentioned earlier.

I invite you to look into outsourcing with us. Our mission is to help you make your dreams come true. Every entrepreneur deserves this. Take a look at what we offer and see if we can fill your needs!

Hello! Benjamin Virgin here. I'm the founder of FIREpreneurship.com and I'd like to welcome you personally to our website!

Here's a little bit about me:

I was born into an entrepreneurial family. My dad started and now runs his own business called Turf Plus Lawn Care. You can hear his voice on our podcast.

Growing up in that environment inspired my oldest brother to start successful businesses of his own, and the combination of my dad and my brother inspired me to be an entrepreneur as well.

For a long time, I didn't know exactly what kind of business I wanted to start. I'm sure you can relate. Until one day, my wife gave me the idea to help fellow entrepreneurs with their businesses.

FIREpreneurship.com fits my personality and interests perfectly; I love everything about entrepreneurship and I love helping others.

Not too long ago, my son was born. He's a product of IVF. My wife and I struggled with infertility for years and his conception and birth are nothing short of a miracle.

Why do I mention this? Well the fact that we went through so much to have a child, and that he's finally here, has inspired me to spend the precious time I'm blessed to have with him. I decided it was time to ditch the traditional 9-5 job and start my own business.

My goal is to achieve FIRE so I can be there for my son throughout his life as much as possible just like my dad has always been for me, and I know there are so many people out there that would love the same for them, so I set out to help others achieve that goal as well.

In light of this, we donate 10% of our profits to Make A Wish to help make as many children's dreams come true as possible.
